THE IMFC-US TEAM
International Missionaries for Christ are thousands of volunteers, partners and staff working together to reach the poor and displaced peoples of Africa. We make disciples who produce disciples who produce even more. We give a hand-up by providing opportunities to those living in desperate conditions to improve their lives, the lives of their family, and even their community.
Pam and Jimmy
Jimmy and Pam met and married a little over 45 years ago in God’s country - Alabama. They have been land surveyors, pastored for 29 years, and along with several other people founded the IMFC in 2004. They have two beautiful daughters who are now married themselves, though they still live nearby, which allows Jimmy and Pam the opportunity to spend lots of time with the grands. In the picture above they are again on one of their adventures crossing the Nile River on a ferry. They seem to be smiling though they are missing their dog Samantha who had to stay home with one of the girls.
Hannah, Debbie and Steve
Steve and Debbie met in 1984 in Sunday School and married one year later. 12 years after that Hannah was added to the circus. She’s since moved away to a University but comes home when she can. They were building contractors, served in churches on staff and as a pastor for a decade or so and have been missionaries for a very long time serving in Central America and now with the IMFC in Africa. In the picture above, Steve said something incredibly funny (as usual), and the girls are trying not to laugh so that they don’t encourage his sense of humor. Occasionally though Hannah can’t help herself and will snicker a little bit.
VOLUNTEERS-PARTNERS-STAFF
There is no possible way to introduce to you the thousands of volunteers, partners and staff of the IMFC. But below is a small representation of those that do their best to reach the poor and displaced peoples of Africa. They are the real IMFC!
